So you’ve chosen what diet you want to follow, but have you got it mapped out? The biggest mistake people make when starting a diet plan is that they don’t have their plan mapped out.
Starting out with a detailed meal plan is the best way to go about losing weight. This gives you a map to follow and makes it easier to stay on track, rather than just coming home from work and not knowing what to eat and eating out instead (I’m guilty of this!).
Also, what are your goals? Do you have those written out too? What are your long-term goals? What do you want to accomplish this week? Will your meal plan help you achieve these goals? How much will you workout? When will you work out? These are all very important questions to answer.
The easiest way to achieve success is to keep a written or online journal. By keeping all of your information together, it will make it easier to refer back to your successes when you are struggling or what you did in a particular situation that was a good or bad choice.
