I went to the gym tonight for the first time in two years, granted the gym here is nothing like the one I used to work at, but it will do. I really didn’t want to go, but once I got there and got going I kind of enjoyed myself. I started off on the elliptical, then went to the treadmill, then did arms and abs. I don’t think I’ll have any abs left tomorrow! LOL!
I used a 4 lb medicine ball to do upper abs and obliques and then did some reverse crunches for lower abs. Let me tell you want that ball really makes ab work intense!
I also found out they have a Yoga class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and since my Weight Watchers meetings are on Tuesdays I will only be able to go to the Thursday class, but I hope it is a good time. I used to love to do Yoga, I even have gotten compliments on my forward fold (which I can’t do anymore!
) but I need to stop living in the past and just focus on losing the weight again.
Anyway, I digress. So I did an hour workout tonight and burned 1070 calories = 10 Activity POINTS! WHOO HOO! Tomorrow is more cardio and I’ll do lower body work. If I keep this up, maybe I can get back to doing the Firm, I used to have a ton of fun doing those workouts!
