Meal planning is one of my biggest downfalls. I never rermember to take anything out in the morning for dinner at night. I never know what we are going to eat until after I get home. I know this is one of the biggest obstacles right now with my weight loss. That is until I found this idea for meal planning from Simple Mom. I had thought of using my appointment calendar, but I didn’t think about using my Google Calendar until I came across her blog post. By using the calendar on Google, I can input the recipes right there for easy viewing.
Plus, you can print out the calendar when you are done for reference, or post it on the fridge!
I’m off to play with my calendar

Check out my website if you are more into “paper” planning. I have a weekly organizer that forces you to look at your schedule, your to-do’s kid things and then plan your meals around that. It’s a tri-fold design that folds up to have your grocery list. (you carry 1 sheet of paper with you each week – the pad contains a year’s supply)
It even includes a section for you to make a personal weekly goal for yourself. I love it because it allows me to do my list whereever I am and it comprisess all of my little scraps of papers onto one weekly planner. The best part is that after that week is done, you start fresh again next week.
I teach classes on meal planning and this tends to be quite a seller for moms. Good luck with your goals!!
