Hi, I’m Melissa and I write SkinnyMommy to help others who are trying to lose weight realize that they are not alone in their struggles. I started Weight Watchers in 2005 at 270 lbs and over the course of two years, lost 100 lbs. Then, I got pregnant and gained it all back! Now I am here to help others who are trying to lose weight, manage their families and keep their sanity. Prior to becoming pregnant I was in training to become a Weight Watchers leader, so I’m pretty up to speed on how the program works and how I can help it work for you.

My Family:
Baby A was born June 29, 2007, and is such a ham. He can make you smile on even the cloudiest days. It’s a joy watching him grow and change.
CW, my husband, can be a handful too. He’s about as much trouble as the pesky furries that live in our house, Mister Bits and Miss Daisy. Who knows what antics they will come up with.
In my spare time (if and when that ever happens!), I like reading, photography, sports, watching Nascar, and just about anything else. Since it’s so hard to come by, any spare time makes me very happy.
If you have any questions regarding weight loss, weight watchers or anything else feel free to contact me!

Hi Hon,
I know. Its so hard being on a diet, budget, and life just bogs you down. Last week, I was doing online bill pay, had some problems, overpaid some bills, 3 and 4 times. OMG!! Luckily a local comapny called and said they had got duplicate payments, and I was able to take care of it all. Dang. Going to Grocery Store, heck, the gas station, is depressing now. Somehow we make it. You baby is growing so. I just know things will be brighter another day. Take care and Im copying that spinach dip…I love spinach. I sautee it with fresh garlic and olvie oil. Yum Yum…Oh I joined Multiply. I dont know about that thing but Im there..LOL!!
Oceans of Love to you Doll,

Your not alone. I lost all of my baby weight on weight watchers. Now the second baby is three and I still can’t seem to kick it into gear again. I know we can do it, we just have to remember how good it feels to see the weight come off. I also helps when others start to notice it too. Hang in there! Get back on the wagon. I need to get on there with you. I fell off and have been drug behind it for way too long.
Kyla,
I love your web site! The colors are fabulous and your pictures are amazing!

Hi,
I just came across your blog and I thought I would wish you good luck with your weight loss! I did WW at home after all three of my kids and lost the weight. I did gain some back though now. I attribute it to old age and a slow metabolism! I am on track now though and hoping to lose again. Anyway, positive vibes to you!

I just came across your blog too. Hope you meet your goals! Have you ever heard of Body For Life or Eating For Life??? I recommend the books….very inspiring!
Hi there, I also just came across your website. I love it! I just had a baby in December and am back on track and trying to lose this baby weight. I did WW before my pregnancy and lost 50 pounds but managed to pack it all back on plus some during the pregnancy. I’ll be checking out your website often. I do WW at home so I don’t attend meetings at all. It’s nice to see and hear other people on the same journey, makes me feel not so alone in all this. Good luck!
Thank you all for the encouragement. It really means a lot to me. I know that we are all in this together and together we can all do it!
Hey Skinny Mom,
How’s it going?? I notice all your blogs are from a while ago…
Stay the course!! The new WW Momentum program is great – easier to stay on and more “filling”!
